I have been seeing the world from behind a camera for a decade. It began when my second daughter was 2 (she is now 12!) and I was learning to photograph jewellery I was making at the time. Turns out I enjoyed the photo taking process way more then the silversmithing I had spent a year learning about and was making and selling. So I began taking my camera out with me on adventures with my toddler and I learnt about capturing light, beautiful places, and real human moments.
After a year of this, I slowly had people ask me if I would take their photo's. At first it was a few families here and there, a few small businesses, and even a music festival. It was the organizers of that music festival that asked me if I would photograph their elopement on a remote west coast beach on Vancouver island.
And thus began my career as a wedding photographer. Although I still took on other work, I dedicated my branding and business as a whole to serving the wedding industry. And then at the beginning of my third season, by busiest yet, que global pandemic...
This totally reorientated my life in the best way possible. I was on the verge of burn out and was feeling deeply lost in my spirit. I shut down my business, and began the journey of homeschooling my two daughters and began a many year long healing journey.
5 years later our family was blessed to welcome in a third daughter, and God started to be the ultimate lord in my life. And in the fall of 2025 he called me back to work. Its taken many months of listening, laying my own visions and ideas down, to finally surrender to HIS will in my life. And to BEHOLD what his plans are for me.

WHY Behold?
To BEHOLD is to witness a moment of great importance
And as a photographer that is exactly what I do. I am a witness to the miracle of life, and even death, and all te holy and sacred moments in between. I work with clients who see their image bearing nature in their story and wish to have to captured and preserved for generations to come.
My work as a like seeker and story teller is to remind my clients that their life is holy and worthy of witness. That it is in the simple and unnoticed moments that our goodness, and beauty is seen in our lives. No moments is too small or unworthy. From the biggest moments like marriage and birth, to capturing the mundane moments of motherhood and family life, I am here to serve.
My approach as an artist
My style is a blend of documentary, storytelling, and guided sessions with an emphasis on easily unnoticed details of the moment.
Think deeply intentional cinematic art film married to that disposable camera in your grandma's purse.
As a deep lover of nature, light, colour, and texture, I focus more on these elements vs if your hair or dress is perfectly in place. Give me all the wind swept, belly laugh filled moments to go along with the artistic poses with golden backlit scene.
My edits tend to have a timeless, true to colour, deep richness with a slight bit of extra warmth to them.
